I hope everyone is having an eventful September so far. If it hasn’t been so eventful, look forward to this: tomorrow is our first general body meeting of the year!

First General Body Meeting

QUEST’s first general body meeting (GBM) will be held Tuesday, September 22nd at 9pm at the LGBT Center. Join us as we discuss our plans for the semester and meet our new members! Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics, Robert Carpick is scheduled to attend. Lastly, we have a special rainbow cake for dessert! All are welcome.

In addition, immediately before our GBM, you’re invited to attend the first GBM for QPOC (Queer People of Color) at 8pm also in the LGBT Center.

Hello Penn Engineering!

Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. It's an enormous goal to accomplish and we need great people to help us achieve it!

Come learn about Google and meet a great bunch of Googlers. A Technical Talk and Info Session at 6:00 PM followed by a fun hour of Geek Trivia. Come for one or both!

Who: All computer science, CIS, DMD students.
What: Tech Talk followed by Geek Trivia.
When: Wednesday September 23. Talk at 6:00, Trivia at 7:30.
Where: Wu and Chen Auditorium.

QPenn Board Elections

If you didn’t know, QPenn is a lively week in late March in which Penn celebrates its LGBT diversity in the form of speakers, events and fun. Come out to have your say in who gets elected to plan this year’s QPenn. Also, think about running! If you enjoyed QPenn last year, now is your chance to have a role in making this year’s events even better! Lambda Alliance is holding the elections on Wednesday, September 30th at 7pm in the LGBT Center.
